1. Who we are
Preppyy (“Preppyy”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an AI-powered exam preparation platform for the Common Admission Test (CAT). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Preppyy website, web application and related services (together, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and purchase a pass. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the Service you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and keeping it up to date.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to notify us immediately at admin@preppyy.com of any unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security.
- One person may maintain only one account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
4. The Service & passes
Preppyy operates on prepaid, time-limited access passes rather than a recurring subscription. An active pass grants unlimited access to the platform’s paid features - including Question Bank solving, practice sessions, mock tests and AI insights - for its stated duration. New users receive a one-time free trial pass on signup. Passes may be purchased as described on our pricing section.
- Passes have no monetary value outside the Service, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are non-transferable between accounts.
- Pass prices and durations are displayed at the point of purchase and may change from time to time. Changes do not affect a pass already purchased.
- A purchased pass activates immediately. If you already hold an active pass, the new pass’s days are added to your current expiry, so no paid time is lost.
- Passes do not auto-renew - access ends when your pass expires unless you buy another. Promotional, trial, referral or bonus days may carry their own conditions.
- A practice session or mock test started while your pass is active may be completed even if the pass expires during it.
5. Payments
All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by third-party payment gateways; we do not store your full card or banking details. By making a purchase you authorise us, through our payment processor, to charge the applicable amount. Your purchase is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of the relevant payment processor.
6. Refunds & cancellation
Pass purchases are final and non-refundable except in the limited circumstances set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Please review that policy before purchasing.
7. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Copy, reproduce, scrape, resell, or redistribute any questions, explanations, analytics or other content from the Service, except for your own personal exam preparation.
- Share, sell or sublicense your account access with any other person.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, interfere with its operation, or probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems.
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service, or attempt to reverse-engineer our diagnostic or AI models.
- Upload or transmit malicious code, or content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes others’ rights.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, without refund of remaining pass time.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including all questions, explanations, taxonomies, software, design, text, graphics and logos, is owned by Preppyy or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Service for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted.
9. AI-generated content & no guarantee of results
Preppyy uses artificial intelligence to generate practice questions, error diagnoses, explanations and percentile estimates. While we work hard to make this content accurate and useful, AI-generated material may occasionally contain errors or omissions. The Service is provided for preparation and self-assessment purposes only. We do not guarantee any particular score, percentile, admission outcome or result, and Preppyy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) or the official CAT examination body.
10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Preppyy and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Suspension & termination
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting admin@preppyy.com. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service and other users. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and remaining pass time is forfeited where termination results from your breach.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to any applicable law, the courts at [CITY, STATE], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
